Dragon Dictation iPhone App

Get productive, get your voice going! Let your mouth do the talkin' and the work.

Reasonably accurate and fast, the Dragon Dictation iPhone app cuts the typing out of jotting down a note, drafting an email, posting to Twitter, and a few other light tasks.
Speak to the app, and your words will appear before you. While it can increase productivity for some, it's not a truly hands-free app, but it's a great way to get messages into text fast. Multiple languages are supported, too.

The Cards App for iPhone

The App that makes any occasion special and any iPhone owner extra thoughtful.

When Apple introduced its Cards app for iPhone (free to download; cards $2.99 each U.S., $4.99 international including shipping), it created a very good tool in a particularly niche-y space, one that's easy to overlook but actually provides a lot of value to the average consumer. Using the Cards app to buy and mail customized greeting cards, with your own photos and text, is surprisingly cost effective, given that birthday cards and whatnot easily cost more than $3 at retail, not including postage. With the app, you can choose from a good number of well designed templates across several occasions—congratulations, thank-you, birthday. The cards themselves are beautifully constructed.

Apple iPhone 4S

The truth is that the 4S brings healthy improvements to an already excellent device. iPhone owners finally get a 64GB model and a better camera, the dual-core processor delivers more speed, and Siri, the iPhone 4S' personal assistant/robot friend/gofer, adds a new and sassy experience. iOS 5 also trots out changes big and small, and we're glad to see Sprint join the Apple family with a true world phone. So while the iPhone 4S isn't the Jesus phone, it's quite enough for plenty of other people-- more than a million, actually.

Not everything impressed me. I'd prefer a slightly larger screen and my list of iPhones misses remains hefty. Verizon's network delivers satisfying call quality and data speeds, which were comparable to its iPhone 4. Big Red's 3G network is faster than on Sprint's in our tests, but Sprint has a slight edge in overall call quality. Remember that there will be a discernible difference between the 4S versions (just like we found with the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4S) so it's important to choose your carrier wisely.

In the end, the decision to buy an iPhone 4S will depend on your current carrier contract. If you aren't eligible for an upgrade with a rebate, I don't think the new features are worth paying full price (at least $500). But if you can upgrade with a discount, or if you're a Sprint customer waiting to get your hands on the iPhone for the very first time, there is enough here to warrant a switch. Sure, there's the chance that a better "iPhone 5" will come next June, but that's a long time to wait. Besides, in the cell phone world, something better is always around the corner.

Why Go for the Apple iPhone 4?

When it comes to mobile phones, The Apple iPhone 4 is tops.

With its sharp Retina display which means ultra Hi-Res and compact pixel density for value. There's so much science behind it, but putting it simply you got enough pixel real estate 4x than the average LCD display (326 pixels per inch). Not to mention, great screen views at any angle which is favorably visible even on sunny days.

The Apple iPhone 4 is the thin sibling to the 3GS smartphone. Its thin, lightweight, but packs a lot more. You can have a lot going on in the background, meaning you can run apps and music and videos all at the same time. Definitely, worth your money and your time.
